Both movies feature "Frustrated Character". Except one is Walt Flanagan and the other is "Brian Alniuck" or something. So, maybe Instead of 'RATS and CLERKS being set in "different universes", EMPLOYEES and 'RATS take place in the same universe! That explains it!! God bless the makes of "EMPLOYEES!" (a syonmym for CLERKS).
But honestly, one of the characters is doing the "Rug Muncher" thing like Jay. Fucking Ripoffs.
