So I asked this before, but there was no response, and I thought perhaps maybe someone out there knows the answer ...
Why was Bud Cort cast as John Doe Jersey in Dogma?
Is Kevin a fan? Was it just a random thing?

This just really interests me, and I'd love to find out how "Harold" wound up being God's little vessel on earth.
