Kevin,

Please take it very personnal: the digestive tube is not the only vital organ.
We saw Dogma yesterday with the hope to feel the vision of the world and the spirit you showed in your previous movies, particularly in Clerks.
And what can we say, we are disappointed.
It's a fact, we DID recognize what we appreciated in your style (excellent way to describe friends relationship, a very good sense of dialogues, some good jokes, a particularly good subject).
But, tell us, did you share the work with some heavy and so-called funny showmen ... like you know... a mix, an hybrid between Jim Carrey and Eddie Murphy?
Dogma is far away of a bad movie. But where is the "pure 100%" cynism, the acidity, the corrosive state of mind you showed in Clerks?
The spirit, the concept are present, it could be so good but all the cynism, the ironic has turned into "burlesque" and heavy stuff.
We'll keep on considering as a great and pretty unexploited moviemaker, we'll go see your next movie and we hope that you'll wake up from this Hollywood parallel universe.

Two real fans of your first and great movie, Clerks,
Christian DingDong and BB Agassis.
