That they are watching the film during the recording of the commentary Ala Mallrats commentary. I think there are upsides and downsides to this, in fact I think they should have to commentaries, one that is screen specific because as your watching it things come to mind that wouldnt normally and hilarity ensues, and also a non screen specific commentary has its pluses as well, you usualy learn more about the actuall film making process from these commentaries because they are not trying to keep up with each scene and cutting stories short.

: Is this a running commentary like in 'Rats, or is this more of the interviews-spaced-throughout-the-film style like the Criterion "Silence of the Lambs?" Anybody who's seen the laserdisc want to clear this up for me? Vincent?
