Having a day to react to Kev's last post, I would have to say that I think that if an end to the Askewniverse is coming, then rather than make a direct Mallrats sequel, make it an indirect one. Different name, new story, but it ties in everything with the other Askew flicks. Make a final "Ultimate Jersey Flick" that connects past characters and the like, and nicely wrapping up the Askewniverse characters with a satisfying tale and conclusion that leaves the fans thinking it was the best way to end things. No small task, it's true. But I'm sure if anyone could manage, Silent Bob himself could. Then the fans accept the fitting end, and everyone is ready to see Kev move on, and await his new project with even more excitement. I think MALLRATS 2: DIE HARD IN A MALL is best suited in comic book form. And All I have to say about that is that.
