Kevin Smith, before I go too far I gotta tell u you've done something beautiful and just incredibly cool for me. I'm James, 20, film student going to St. John's University in the NY. I live in queens, and it's pretty insane. I love film more than jay loves putang! I really love film and when I see your work I'm SO inspired. When I make it (and I promise I wiill) I'm gonna give u a well deserved shot-out, you're part of the reason I'm there. So hungry. any way, enuff of the sentimental talk to my hero monkey crap, on the subject of a "Mallrats 2" it can massively cool and cinematic ass-kicking. "Mallrats" was sort of like "American Beauty" in that it totally mirrored the insanity and great flaws of our stupid ass methods. "Mallrats" was hysterical and pitfully underappreciated! You did an ill job on that mutha-mutha. If "Mallrats 2" gives us another shot at laughing our balls off at the sweet idioticness of teenagers and that retail hell enviroment, then move at speeds that would make Flash Gordon call for instant replay. And don't worry about the marketing. Check it out- you guys don't even have to call it "Mallrats 2" you could call "Jersey Mallrats" even, yes excuse the stupidity, but u get the picture. I apologize for the length of this piece of smile and optimism, but Kev I think u da man! and if u could reply-God Bless, if not God bless.
