Loved Mallrats. Loved seeing Jason Lee in a starring role. Loved seeing Jay and Silent Bob foolin' around (eww, not like that!) Thought it was funny as hell and wish I'd been able to see it at the theatre.
Negative vibes:
That's another sequel. People will want Amy 2 and Dogma 2 right after, and then you're back at square 1 again. Is the time ripe for something new, something maybe even... away... from Jersey?
Positive vibes rebuttal:
What ever happens, it would be funny and entertaining as hell. Maybe even get some one else to direct, one of those hip guys with initials or three names or something. Ouch.

Dude, do what you want to do. Yeah, you (kinda) work for us, but you were working for you long before we came along, and that was Clerks, which didn't turn out so bad. So I say go with what you think is right.
