Didn't London and Forlani's characters get married at the end? That seems easy to get away from, just say they moved. Or died when the shark thing broke loose and... well, okay, that idea sucks.
What's hard is explaining the Tonight Show stuff, and Lee's relationship to Shannon D-howeverthefuckyouspellhername-y. Since I doubt she'll be willing to come back.
