I agree with it not being the same as a sequel. However, the guy does have a point, and WE would know. The trick is to avoid telling the critics. Personally, I feel that if Mallrats was released today with a bigger budget it would have had much kinder reviews, especially after the likes of "American Pie". This is why I think Mallrats 2 under a different monicker is a good idea.
