why not do a mallrats sequel? sure it may be critically ignored or pigeonholed because of the lack of success the other one had. But it'll be a blast for all the fans of the first flick, and i'm sure it'll do better than it. the video's still popular, the dvd did great, and the audience would be huge. and it would be a great way to round out the viewaskewniverse. i say go for it. do it for the fans, if for nothing else.
