I can agree with you... somewhat. I mean, really... how many big Alan Rickman fans do you think have seen "Mallrats?" Of course, I guess one could "play the Rickman card" to draw in a more diverse (read: people who like Englishmen with horrific teeth) viewing audience.
Incidentally, I thought Rickman looked really old in the "Dogma."
