Well, I haven't posted to a BBS in..lessee..10 years. A freind of mine pointed me here, and since I have really enjoyed all of View Askew's movies, (Yes I actually liked Mallrats ) I figured I'd post here. I guess I just wanted to say thanks to the whole crew at View Askew for bringing a little laughter and insight into my life.
Is Clerks 2 really going to be your next movie? My reaction to that is, Why? I have the same reaction to rumors of a Terminator 3, Batman 9, Star Trek 10, Ad Nauseum... Of course, I can't really lump clerks into that category because there has only been one, but After watching it I never really said to myself, "Oh wow, I can't wait to see the sequel to find out what happens next." It seemed to wrap itself up quite nicely. If I think about the possible premise hard enough I can only come up with this...
Jay and Silent Bob Return to the Quikstop after saving the world from Loki and Bartleby for some munchies only to find that an evil corporation (whose name consists of only two numbers) has bought the quikstop and is forcing Dante to wear a cheesy red and green uniform, and stand over his shoulder all day barking orders at him. It's up to J&SB to thwart the evil corporation and save the day for slacker clerks everywhere.
Will we get to see the candycane sequence from the comics?
