I really enjoy the smith movies. I think for me it is the great on screen chemistry between the characters. Dante and Randal remind me so much on when I worked in a comic book store and a couple friends on mine would come in and hang out all day and we would just talk about things only thoes in the inner circle of the fanboy would know about. who would win in a fight between Hitman and Wolverine.. which movie was better Jedi or Empire.. Clerks or Mallrats. I'm wondering just how close of friends they were or are in real life after that movie.. the friendship seemed genuine to me.
there is also great chemistry between Jason lee and Ben affleck. now I know they a true friends in real life.. tho I think I liked them better as enemys in mallrats then as friends in Chasing Amy. And Ofcourse there is Jay and Silent Bob.. "You will never find a more retched hive of scum and villany" funny as hell.
kevin.. do you always look for great chemistry when you are casting parts for you movie or are you just one lucky SOB?
