I'm a super lurker from way back -- used to just read the posts here, and never even registered until a few months ago.
Since Dogma opened I've noticed (as I'm sure you have !!!) that the board has a been on a one way trip to bedlam, and I just wanted you to know that not all the new posters are massive teeny boppers with a knack for giving away the ends of the movie while drooling over Ben Affleck's smile.
I really appreciate a lot of the stuff I've read here over the years, and it's nice too to realise that other people are just as interested in the minutiae of Kevin Smith films as I am.
Plus,I know how possesive you can begin to feel about a certain board or site or movie or ________ (fill in the blank), once everyone else comes in and starts blabbing their loud mouthed opinions it can feel like something is ruined.
But take heart ! I'm sure a lot of folks will sort of fade away after the initial fervor dies down, and it will be relatively normal once again. As for myself, I am going back to lurking now . . .
