I loved the movie. I played hookey from work and took in the 1:00 show. A pair of late middle aged black folks laughed out loud. I may have laughed louder.
From a continuity point. Why did Bethany's sweater dry off in middle of the scene. I didn't get the "Baptism" in the river until after I returned home, then it hit me. Total immersion, river, white garment. At first I thought it was just an excuse to see a beautiful woman in a wet white shirt.
The closing credits go by way too fast. I almost missed the thanks to Howard et al.
