Actually, Kevin had met her a while ago and asked her to do a part for him or something but due to time constraints on her side she passed. I believe that she contacted him at a later time and he mentioned he had a role if she wanted it and she agreed. The story goes something like that. But he didn't ask her to play God just to meet her. They were all ready acquaintances (major sp).
Also there was another actor rumored to play god and I can't remember her name. But it was also a woman. I don't believe Kevin ever had any intentions of NOT casting a woman for the role of god.
If I am wrong about any of this, just spank me and we will move on.
