: : Roger Ebert gave a big thumbs up on the show last night, but his co-host (who is very religious) didn't like it. She claimed it was boring and offensive. Roger thought different. He stated that they could sit around and talk about the film for three hours, which is more they can say for most films.

:
: I thought she showed how developed her sense of humor was with the "woof woof" joke, though. It wasn't really a good way to gain credibility and Ebert seemed quite disgusted by its childishness.

Just wondering who his co-host was and how she broached the subject of her faith. Think Rog had her on just so he could play off of her religious views? Anyway, his Sun Times review is pretty good, and he totally comes off as a Smith fan. Apparently, his Catholic upbringing and Kev's were pretty similar. He also gushes about Smith being a latter-day George Bernard Shaw. "Snootchmalion," anyone?
