I hate analyzing movies... I just say, I liked it, I loved it, didn't care for it, whatever.
Saw Dogma yesterday. Loved it. I was trying to figure out why I cried at a comedy, tho. I mean, I laughed my ass off, but.. there were a few moments that I just couldn't help reacting to the emotions on the screen. Did anyone else feel that, when Loki looked at Bartleby and whispered, "Morningstar.."?
I told a friend later, that was the most religious movie I've seen. Raised as a southern baptist myself (only a little less rigid than Catholics in their "dogma"), I identified very closely with our heroine. The conversation about losing your faith sorta broke me down. A child's faith.. wish I had it back.
Tho, I think Dogma helped do that a little. Thanks Kevin.
