: 1. Bethany, in the end, removes the life support system on "God" and was sopon struck by a force that appeared to peirce her feeble human flesh. As i recall in the original screenplay a Stygian Triplet does the job. What is your current explanation for her "death". I say the light of God thing, but I would rather be sure (thank God for this board man. thank fucking God).

Vincent answered this on the last board. You are indeed correct.

I think the confusion in part is because the original script means of death was filmed and later cut out. I believe that because they still needed an explanation for this to satisfy the ending of the story, they simply added the optical.

Now, why God Lightning isn't like normal lightning which cauterizes as it goes through flesh, that's another question. Perhaps a question for future theologians.

: 2. Under the stipulation that God is perfect, why was she unable to maintain a handstand? Sorry, it bugged me?

She was in human form. Besides she was doing handstands for her own entertainment, so probably the human struggle of it was part of the pleasure.

: 3. Is there any way you could pull a Tarantino and release an uncut version of this film. I am one of the many who felt it was slightly... rushed.

Kevin and Vincent have both said that they intend to release both the theatrical version (although this might be *slightly* beefed up) and the rough cut on the DVD edition. I look forward to this and hope they are able to arrange this with the DVD distributor, etc.

: 4. The opening felt familiar... python much?

What Python moment are you thinking of? I understood the A CLOCKWORK ORANGE comparison made before, but this I'm not sure I get.
