The word is that the next film (apparently the ill-subtitled Clerks 2: Hardly Clerkin') will be the last outing for Jay and Bob, at least on the big screen.

Perhaps, since he did produce Good Will Hunting. If you mean direct others' films, Kev has said that he desires only to direct his own scripts (though occasional rewriting of other folks' scripts seems to be a-OK).
