I just want to say that before I went to see Dogma for the third time, on Sunday morning, I went to church. Then I adorned my Dogma T-shirt and forked over my life savings to buy a small popcorn. After mass I had the opportunity to briefly chat with the Pastor, as I often do, and he gave the film two thumbs up. He had seen the film on Saturday and agreed with me that all of the hoopla about this being so derrogitory to the church was bull. Anyway, the young Seminarian (Priest in training) who was also chating with us agreed that it was an excellent film and said that he had enjoyed your other films. The Pastor expressed interest in seeing them, and me and the Seminarian shot eachother a look. We aren't sure if he'd like Clerks or Chasing Amy. I'll have to ask him next week. Anyway, all those AK-47 carrying phoney film critics/ protestors out there: get a life! And see the damn movie!
