Well a half dozen of us went to the 7:45 show at the AMC in Highlands Ranch Colorado. We got there a half hour early and the theatre was already full. We had to sit in the 3rd row. (that sucked). I was surprised by the number of people there. It seemed to be a mostly college crowd, and some who I thought were too young to be in this theatre, but who am I to judge.
The opening lines got lots of laughs and applause, and the first appearance of J&SB got applause as well. There was an extra police officer stationed in and around the theatre but no protesters to be found.
The only problem I had was that everyone left during the credits. My friends and I stayed to the end but the film got cut off just as the "jay and silent bob will appear next in" part so I had to go to the board to find out. We stood up and looked back and the theatre was already half full for the next show, they came in during the end credits.
So overall I thought the movie was good, and I will go see it again, if for nothing else to sit further back in the theatre so that I can see everything, especially the credits which were too tough to read when sitting that close.
