Not having much faith of my own, I have to say, the idea of Alanis as God is an interesting one...The thing I love about movies is being able to go to work on Monday and talk to everyone about what I saw. I found that difficult with Dogma. I live in the Midwest, and if you don't attend church every Sunday, you must have horns growing out of your head. So religion is not a topic I normally choose to discuss with others. Luckily, my fiance and I share the viewpoint so we were able to discuss our enjoyment of Dogma. I am still having difficulty finding an appropriate way to tell my co-workers to go see Dogma without getting into a heavy religious debate with them...
