I saw Dogma this Saturday, 11-13-99, and enjoyed it very, very much. For my money, it's Smith's best movie to date. (insert obligitory it's-not-evil sentence here).
I noticed one thing that's completely outside the story of the movie, but interesting to me nonetheless. In the thank you section at the end of the movie credits, they thanked Harley Quinn, a villain and girlfriend of the Joker from the Animated Batman series. I wanted to know any opinions that Smith or other ViewAskewers about Harley, argueably the best post WWII Batman creation.
I wasn't able to read the rest of the thank you to Harley (possibly because I got so happy to see her name mentioned), but it seemed to read like she was not only a real person, but a close friend to someone, and I wondered if her name had been taken as a nickname for a close friend or something? Just a theory.
Any thoughts could be mailed to me at mottazp@brinson.com.
Have fun, suckas.
