first kevin, thank you for a great flick. i really enjoyed it, and i respect you so much for making such a personal film, just for yourself and not to necessarily please everyone else.
ive been censoring what i read or find out about that film for so long so as not to spoil it, and now all those months of little bits of info that i accidentally picked up about the film i can ask about, because ive finally seen it.
here goes.
1 was matty's star wars religious dialogue on the train cut because you didnt realize it was in the original script for clerks, or just because of time constraints?
2 i remember back during production, near the end of filming, you said that you had a last minute epiphony of sorts and did something drastically different. what was that?
3 what was rock's line about a basket or something, some ad-lib that you thought was funny. what was the line and where was it?
i loved jason lee's first scene. the mrs. reynolds bit, and then he clicks the pen like only jason lee can. loving it.
also, being an air conditioning contractor, i sincerly appreciated his quote about central air.
and by the way, so far i have signed 3 autographs for old people who think im famous because i introduced the sneak preview of the flick at my school and said i was an extra in it. they think im a movie star or something.
still havent gotten any snatch out of it though.
thanks again
