: : Sheesh!, Phil, lightin' up!
: : As Kevin states in the beginning and towards the end: Even God has a sense of humor.
: Right, I'm sure God enjoys people mocking his Son's cross, telling Nuns to give it up, and having Cardinals take the Lord's name in vain.
The thing with buddy Christ was NOT to mock the cross but to recenter the image of Christ not on his death but on the hope and salvation he offers. At least that's what I got from it.
The Nun should BELIEVE and UNDERSTAND the dogma she speaks of. If some guy talking about Alice in Wonderland could change her faith, she didn't believe strongly enough in the first place. My friend was a Catholic, and nothing in Dogma made him doubt Catholicism. He actually liked it.
Try to tell me you haven't taken the Lord's name in vain.
How can you lie like that!
The Cardinal is a person, and people (by catholic definition) are sinful in nature. It was funny, but it wasn't offensive.
: Smith is afraid, I tell ya. Hee hee.
And what's with this Hee hee?
Yep, I guess we're just a bunch of hate-mongers. Five will get ya ten that Phil's next comment will be "Friends, let me tell you about another group of hate-mongers that were just following orders . . ."
