We used to live in NJ and we now live in Fort Worth, Texas - quite a difference but we are surviving. Just saw Dogma at a local theater and even the Texans seemed to get the jokes and the obscure references. I am one of those people who stay until the screen goes dark. You might miss something if you don't. Remember Diner and Young Sherlock Holmes? Anyway, at 53 I don't read as fast as I used to and neither does my husband so of course I missed a lot of your "thank you's and tributes". As an astute business person Kevin, I realize that now I will have to rent or buy the film when it comes out so that I can play it on "slow" and read what else you said about Ben besides the fact that he was a pimp! Was that your diabolical plan in the first place?
Anyway, considering the way these Texans drive, I may not be around long enough to purchase the video, so where can I find this info now?
My son dragged me to Clerks when it came out years ago and I have been a fan ever since. (By the way, is your complexion really that perfect or is it makeup?) But I digress. Anyway our kids will be visiting for Thanksgiving and we will be taking a family outing to view Dogma together. Since they are in their 20's they read faster and may be able to help me.
Just in case though - please post it somewhere.
We loved the film, and considering the fact that we live in a state that starts to put up Christmas decorations sometime between July 4th and Yom Kippur, it was a pleasure to hear people laughing along with us. Keep it up. Thanks. nlr
