Been reading the boards for over a year but never posted a word. However, I felt after seeing Dogma I figured I might chime in some praise. (It was, afterall, the first movie i liked enough to think about it a day after I saw it.)
The one thing that stuck out and made me think was the overall clear as hell message of the movie. The point, (even if overstated a bit) is so damn universal. I being a hater of organized religion ( the religions not the poeple that follow them) loved the message. The faith in a higher power has never, ever been so certain in my mind and soul. I might not believe in God, Jesus or anything else in the bible but damn, Dogma cemented in my mind that sometihng links us all and brings order and love to this world, be it God or my own personal god.
Anyway all I can say is thanks to the Kev man for bringing some spiritual certainity to my life and for making some flicks that made/make me laugh.
