Where I saw it, an arthouse that is one huge screen only, that never never never gets filled... was far closer to full than it usually is, and fuller than the 7 oclock on Friday.
Tonight's reacted well, though a bit more leaning towards the drama than the comedy this time... and maybe it was the venue and the suprisingly high average age of the crowd... but a lot of the VA injokes were lost on the crowd.
My slightly more analytical college roommate's reaction to the film...
"Really liked most of it but thought the ending wasn't pat enough, kinda diffused... thought some of the VA refs were a little overbearing... and really liked Linda's nipples."
