I can't believe you protested your own movie. Very cool. A clever and creative response to a truly frustrating problem. Excellent. Plus, it's pretty damn funny as a story. (You could make a movie out of that experience someday. Heh.)

Just a quick note of expanation about why those folks might have been out there. Everyone has something they believe in, and sometimes it can seem that others are somehow jeopardising that belief, even if it's not true. People fear what they don't understand, and fear puts all sorts of nasty ideas in their heads. So they lash out at anyone they think is responsible. No one likes to have their own little worlds disturbed. And that's what you did to these folks. You asked them to contemplate their beliefs, to step outside of their comfy little bubbles of existance. They should be thankful to you, Kevin, but instead they are afraid. It's sad, but a very common occurance in the realm of humanity. We are imperfect beings. Sometimes we do stupid shit. The Catholic League is no exception (though they are loathe to admit it, of course). My advice, don't worry about it. The people who are open to ideas will see Dogma and get something out of it, the people who are closed minded and afraid probably need more serious help than a 2 hour movie can provide!

Anyway, as you said a couple of days ago, if you don't like something, ignore it and it will go away.

who chants that mantra all the time, but no one listens, not even herself. Heh.
