The above person is totally nuts. The movie is not worth seeing twice (maybe once out of curiousity). I am not a big Kevin Smith fan, but am a huge fan of the Catholic League. The League got it right again. So what's new? Check them out at www.CatholicLeague.org -- Michael Medved also got the movie right. A 1 1/2 out of 5. Just about right. You can check him out at www.MichaelMedved.com

Dogma was Boring with a capital B, rambled on, could have cut it down to 1 hour 20 min. The foul language and taking the Lord's name in vain was not cute, it fact it was meant to be offensive. As a contrast, see The Messenger on Joan of Arc, I paid for that, saw the first hour, then saw Dogma. All right, a veniel sin, I admit.

Kevin Smith needs some lessons in Catholic theology (I got a couple web sites he can visit), and the last 20 minutes was incomprehensible. Damon and Affleck are not funny, period. The only one who could deliver the lines with humor was Chris Rock. Should have made the whole movie around him. A 13th apostle? Nice try, he could be a disciple (there were many of those) but there were only 12 original Apostles.

I found the theological speculations somewhat amusing. Angels did have a choice, before they fell. So that part was incorrect.

BTW, not only was Jesus black (or darker skinned), but so were the original 12 Apostles. So Rock would fit right in. He would have to watch his mouth though, or be zapped by Jesus.

So anyway, I challenge all fans of Kevin Smith and Dogma to a debate on Catholic theology. Hee hee.

I heard the script is available online. Can someone point me to a web site with the entire Dogma script?
