The Quest to Find Dogma

Well I saw Dogma earlier today (a 1:30 showing) and I must say it was impressive. My biggest problem was finding a theater that was showing it. I live in Connecticut and there's a theater no more than 10 minutes away from my house, which happens to have the best sound system in the state, and when I checked the paper this morning and found a slew of crappy movies playing there, from Pokemon to The Bachelor, but alas no Dogma. After checking the listing for all the theaters I would normally go to (about 3 other than the one in my town) and still hadn't found one that was playing it. I eventually did find a theater playing it, and the theater was only about 1/4 full but Dogma is a rated-R movie and this was a 1:30 showing.
A few comments about Dogma
I really enjoyed Dogma, but 2 thing bothered me:
1. Background Music: The music in the film really distracted me. It seemed like really generic action movie tunes blasting through the theater and I thought many scenes did not need it.
2. Too many inside jokes: from Grant Hicks, to Walt and Steve-Dave, to the "Step aside, Red", while I laughed, the casual viewer couldn't really get into the movie. In fact, I found myself and my friend to be the only ones laughing in many instances during the film.
Well thats it, I think Mewes and Lee were definitely the bright spots in this film, also Carlin was good in the few scenes he that he appeared in. The "Buddy" Jesus drew one of the biggest laughs from the crowd, along with the scene at "Mooby Burger"(?) where Rufus mentioned Jay spanks it while thinking about guys. I personally was dying when I heard the battle cry of "Snootch-to-the-Mother-Fuckin'-Nootch!" Overall,Dogma's a great flik, but I'm sure most of the people on this board already knew that.
