: Due to that fact that I'm a resident of Spokane, Washington, a city located all the way on the other side of the country, I was one of those unfortunate souls who was unable to attend Dogmathon.
: That being said, could one of you lucky people summarize the events so I don't have to wait until tomorrow to read News Askew (unless someone already has and I overlooked one of the posts below)?
Well I tape recorded Kevin's speech in the beginning (But did not tape the movie!) So I will transcribe that this week.
The free swag was a poster of Jay and Silent Bob from Dogma signed by Kevin. It was so worth the hour and a half drive down (and yes I was ones of the people who had to drive HOME last night and go to work today!)
I am so proud of this movie. Kevin addressed almost all of the questions I have had about the Catholic Church for the past 10 years. The Catholic Defense League should see this movie. First of all, they had a lot of their facts wrong about the movie. And secondly maybe they would be able to address the question of the church a lot easier.
As Kevin says in the "introduction/apology" God has a sense of humor. Look at the platypus.
