Well Jules, assuming you're the same as Seraph as you imply, I'd be happy to answer that.

Thing is, Kevin hasn't really said a lot about his inspiration for Dogma. Based on best available information, it's his musings from a lifetime of living as a Catholic. Kevin calls it a "love letter to God." Seems Kevin is more interested in faith itself than any particular trappings, and this movie explores facets of faith. As for more, well, I guess I'd have to see the movie myself.

: I just wanted to know if there was a particular event or reason that is behind this work... Thought I was asking an intelligent question, in hopes of recieving an answer why he chose such a topic. That's it, not a threat, not a bible thumper, just curious.
