Religious Experience?

This is for Kevin: Looking forward to Dogma coming out in November, however, my future husband seems kind of against it. He's a devout Catholic and is torn between his belief and his desire to see more of your work. (His Knights of Columbus chapter is already campaigning against it!) What I want to know is what was the catalyst behind this screenplay? It seems that most people who write religious satire are lapsed in their practice and beliefs. Are you a NP Catholic?
