Below on this board i have seen Kevin cut loose on people like I've never seen Kevin cut loose before. and quite frankly, it's been a long time coming.
i DO think it's high time Kevin started giving shit to some of these people. some of them are dicks. trashing people's work [even famous people] isn't right. saying you didn't like it is fair, and more than your right, but giving Kevin shit personally over the fact that you didn't like something is very asshole-like.
would if be fair of me to say that i thought Fight Club was a giant floating turd, and that i think David Fincher is a piece of shit director, and he and Brad Pitt and Eddie Norton should be shipped off to a deserted island never to come into contact with human beings ever again? no. that would not be fair, and what's more, it would be mean, and uncivil. so, i would simply say "I didn't like Fight Club." or even "Fight Club sucked." if yer gonna attack, attack the product. don't attack those who made it. they were just trying to make something cool. just because you didn't like it, doesn't mean you can tear them apart over it.
i'm all about the free speach, but come the fuck on, folks. don't be such dickheads. remember: humans have feelings [except me and Johnny Rotten] and it hurts "just as much when someone steps all over them."
and i expect to be called a "Kevin Suck-Ass" or whatever for this, and ya know what? i don't care. i've been posting here for three years, and you know who's virtually the only person who never gave me any crap for any of my posts? Kevin fucking Smith. so, as far as I'm concerned, the rest of you can eat a cock.
George Carlin wrote "Double-fuck the sports fans" because the fans don't mean shit. Kev, and the Askew crew are the only people who matter in this equasion, and the rest of us are simply along for the ride. Carlin also said "Don't give me this week shit about 'We pay their salaries' and 'Without us, there would be no games.' Bullshit!" Carlin is a wise man.
of course, this is all just my opinion. i could be wrong.

PS: I haven't read JnSB4, so i can't trash or defend it. i'm defending Kevin, even though he doesn't need me to do so.
PPS: I haven't seen FIGHT CLUB, either, but it looks pretty bad-ass to me, so no disrespect to that flick. I just needed an example.
PPPS: When i said "I could be wrong," I meant about everything except when i said "Carlin is a wise man." That much is fact.
