: Alright, here I'll be the new source of flames. The nucleus of negativity although I'm just gonna be honest and let my opinion flow. Whenever, I'm reading the board, I always take the time to read whatever Kevin has posted for us here, sometimes its very informative updates on his new work which I for one appreciate, other times its a battle royal between him and a "fan," and honestly its like witnessing a public crucification.

: Personally I don't get it, isn't ViewAskew all about crossing the boundary of what's considered public opinion, isn't this board to get feedback? I know no one wants to ever hear the negative side to how their work was viewed or what not, but isn't that also inspirational to what comes about next? I mean didn't Mallrats' "failure" inspire Kevin to make Chasing Amy the best it could be and to disprove the critics about his existing talent?

: Let's be honest Kevin, if you don't like what certain people say here, you can easily tear them to pieces and publicly outwit most beyond belief (me included), and I'm not saying that cause you are a bad guy, its cause you're IQ is probably levels higher then most here, and you've got a thousand people here to trample that "opinionated fan" after you and to offer their VERY unnecessary "he told you's." Bottom line we are all human, yet I think we can all agree it hurts more "getting dissed," from a public figure then the other way around.

: I'm a fan of your's, and no I'm not Hawkboy, although we've had personal interactions as well. No negative ones that I can think of. I just would hope in person, if I ever was lucky enough to be asked, "What did you really think of that?" I could give my honest opinion and you'd respect me for whatever answer I gave. Okay now, let the poison darts fly, go ahead people criticize my overlooked poor grammar, the idiocy of my opinion, the assumed length of my penis, and whatever else you wish. I just got to thinking if you're a fan, and you've been crushed for your opinion or an inane comment you may wish you didn't make, what do you with your Dogmathon Ticket? I mean wouldn't you feel sheepish about attending that afterwards? This whole ordeal reminds me of an episode "Growing Pains" in which Ben idolizes a certain mock rock star, and he gets the chance to meet him in person, and due to bad timing he gets to see a side of him he wishes he didn't.

: I haven't read Jay & Silent Bob #4, but after all this talk of it, I do plan on it, so at the very least you've benefited from that, and that same hype is gonna do you well come Dogma's release. Just remember Kevin, for every one sour opinion you'll ever hear, you've got a hundred positive ones to let you know your work is not only respected, but wanted, and for sure majority rules.

: P.S. Kevin, I have one of those very comfortable inflatable beds, if you ever wanna sleep over we just fumigated my basement and hey that's all you! Unless you want bottom bunk in my room, but let me warn you ahead of time, I have a blatter control problem.
