Harvey Weinstein - the esteemed co-chairman of our beloved Miramax -
also co-chaired the AIDS Project Los Angeles 'Tom Ford for Gucci' Fashion Show
Benefit. He invited me and Joey (who couldn't attend, since she was already in
Toronto for 'A Cool, Dry Place'). Refusing to show up dateless, I flew Jason out for
the event (if for no other reason than to see him in a tux).
The event took place in two Airport hangars out in Santa Monica, and was broken up
into two parts - the fashion show came first, and then dinner. Neither of us had ever
been to a fashion show before. After attending, I highly recommend them - if not for
the booming music and array of styles, then at least to see a slew of see-through
clothing on really thin chicks.
Jason had the great idea of getting a camera and taking some shots. What follows is
basically his handiwork (with the exception of the ones he's in - I took those) -
the photo-journal of the l'il sonic boom's night at the opera, so to speak. |
